Job summary
Socket.dev in Texas is seeking a Quality Control Manager (QCM) to develop, implement, and enforce the on-site Quality Control Plan for DoD base custodial services. You will operate independently from production teams and liaise with COR and QA personnel to ensure high-quality service delivery across the installation.
The role requires 3–5+ years of DoD QC experience, a US citizen able to obtain an installation badge, and knowledge of ISSA CIMS-GB or USACE CQM-C.
Qualifications
- 3–5+ years of experience managing Quality Control for DoD or federal base contracts.
- US citizen able to pass background checks for installation access.
- Knowledge of ISSA CIMS-GB or USACE CQM-C is highly valued.
- Proficiency with standard digital inspection applications and MS Office.
Responsibilities
- Execute the approved QCP in compliance with FAR, ACC, and PWS metrics.
- Conduct daily inspections of HQ, barracks, DFACs, motor pools, and gyms.
- Maintain inspection records digitally for COR/QA review.
- Draft formal Corrective Action Plans within contractual hours.
- Coordinate with COR and BOS during validations and audits.
- Submit weekly deficiency trackers, monthly trend reports, and safety audits.
