Apogee Research in Arlington, VA seeks a Program Manager to oversee DoD research programs from kickoff through deployment. The role requires in-person work at our Arlington office and travel, and demands active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.

You will bridge customers and technical teams, manage budgets, schedules, and deliverables, and coordinate cross-functional resources. Key responsibilities include funding contracts, delivering contractual artifacts, and supervising multi-program

Qualifications

• Experience as a program manager for DoD contracts, including classified work.
• Proven track record meeting deadlines and delivering all contract deliverables.
• Experience in proposal management (unclassified and classified).
• Ability to analyze cost and schedule to identify program risk.
• Experience creating action items, metrics, and risk mitigation plans.
• Strong interaction with customers, teams, and senior management.

Responsabilités

• Ensure contracts are funded, scoped, and controlled to schedule and budget.
• Submit accurate contractual deliverables on time.
• Coordinate across technical, IT, security, finance, and management teams.
• Plan staff allocations for project success in a research environment.
• Manage multiple programs and share resources to maximize client value.
• Manage classifed/unclassified proposals and write programmatic sections.
• Track progress, budgets, personnel, deliverables, schedules and reporting.
