Job summary

TekSynap is seeking a Network Technician to support US Air Force AMC base infrastructure modernization. You will install, configure, test, and document enterprise network equipment at MacDill AFB and Charleston AFB, following approved designs and SOPs to ensure mission readiness.

Applicants must have an active Secret clearance and DoD BAN installation experience; travel up to 75%; onsite work in Tampa, FL and Charleston, SC. Target salary range is $65k–$75k with benefits included.

Qualifications

• Active Secret clearance required.
• Experience with installation, staging, configuration and testing of enterprise network equipment.
• Knowledge of Cisco/Juniper config for enterprise deployments.
• Experience with copper/fiber cabling, labeling and rack installation.
• Ability to read network diagrams, floor plans, rack elevations, port maps, and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Installs, configures, tests, documents, and troubleshoots network equipment and supporting infrastructure during AMC BAN modernization.
