Job summary

Aleut Federal is seeking a Computer Network Support Specialist to provide advanced technical expertise across AF TENCAP network systems at multiple security levels. You will analyze performance, manage LAN/WAN infrastructure, and coordinate with internal teams, agencies, and vendors to ensure uninterrupted mission support.

The role requires 4+ years of DoD network experience, Sec+ certification, and an active TS/SCI clearance.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of IT network support experience.
• Experience with DoD networks and classified communication systems.
• Experience with VoIP call managers and VTC suites.
• Experience with Cisco CLI and Cisco devices.
• Active Top Secret/SCI clearance.

Responsibilities

• Analyze network performance data and resolve complex issues.
• Manage LAN/WAN infrastructure configuration, patching, monitoring, and optimization.
• Oversee outages with internal teams, agencies, and vendors for rapid resolution.
• Lead network infrastructure projects and technology refresh initiatives.
• Assess trends and implement best practices for security and reliability.
• Coordinate integration of new capabilities per DoD/AF standards.
• Advise leadership on technology enhancements and risk mitigation.
• Collaborate with IT teams to ensure cohesive operations and change management.
• Educate stakeholders on network usage and security protocols.
• Maintain IT security vigilance and comply with DoD AF directives.
