Job summary

Veterans First Initiative, LLC (VFI) seeks a Network Specialist to support the DHA medical network on Fort Stewart, GA. You will provide on-site troubleshooting and ensure LAN/WAN services across the campus are maintained, including core and edge switches, firewalls, and VPNs.

The role requires knowledge of OSI layers 1-3, TCP/IP, routing protocols, and security practices; a Secret clearance or higher is required. DoD experience preferred and comprehensive benefits offered.

Qualifications

• OSI Model Layers 1-3, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, routing protocols.
• Firewall and VPN technologies, LAN/WAN troubleshooting.
• Strong knowledge of security methodologies and DoD security standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily operational support for LAN core and edge switches.
• Resolve network issues across DoD DHA medical network; onsite troubleshooting.
• Plan, install, and support hardware/software upgrades and cabling.
