Job summary

CAC I International Inc. is seeking an experienced IT Network Engineer to design, install, configure, and maintain complex DoD‑standard networks across diverse environments.

You will work with cross‑functional teams to ensure mission readiness and compliance with DoD standards, contributing to critical national security missions. The role requires 6–8 years in DoD network engineering, a Top Secret clearance, and DoD 8140 Level II certification, with experience in STIG remediation and timing

Qualifications

• BS/MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent experience.
• Active Top Secret clearance.
• 6–8 years of DoD or federal network engineering experience.
• DoD 8140 Level II Certification.
• Experience with manual STIG checklists and remediation.
• Desired: 10+ years in mobile tactical networks; CCNA or higher; TS/SCI clearance.

Responsibilities

• Install and configure LANs/WANs, deployable networks for satellite, telephony, and VTC.
• Integrate network equipment across transportable, mobile and fixed sites.
• Configure routers, switches, firewalls, and cabling; verify infrastructure.
• Perform site surveys and capability analyses for Operations Centers.
• Develop engineering docs, rack elevations, test plans, and maintenance manuals.
• Coordinate system upgrades with cross‑functional teams.
• Ensure NTP timing synchronization and timing accuracy.
