Job summary

CACI International Inc is seeking an experienced IT Network Engineer to design, install, configure, and maintain advanced networking and communications systems across DoD environments, ensuring adherence to DoD standards. You will perform site surveys, document engineering plans, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to support mission-critical capabilities.

The role requires DoD 8140 Level II Certification and an active Top Secret clearance, with 6–8 years of federal network engineering

Qualifications

BS/ MS in CS, CE, IS or equivalent experience.
Active Top Secret clearance required.
6–8 years in DoD or federal network engineering.

Responsibilities

Install and configure LANs, WANs, deployable networks for satellite terminals, telephony, and VTC.
Integrate network equipment across transportable, mobile, and fixed sites.
Configure routers, switches, and firewalls; terminate cabling and infrastructure.
Conduct site surveys and capability analyses for Operations Centers (OC).
Verify compliance with installation standards and engineering best practices.
Develop technical documentation including drawings, user guides, rack elevations, pin-outs, test plans, procedures, and maintenance manuals.
Collaborate with development and test teams to support system upgrades and testing cycles.
Configure and verify Network Time Protocol (NTP) timing synchronization.
