Paragon Technology is seeking a Network Specialist to support DoD operations at a fast-paced Command environment. You will diagnose, implement, and maintain network solutions, ensuring connectivity, security, and performance.

The role involves hands-on configuration of VPNs, routers, and security systems, with a focus on DoD security standards. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree in IT or CS, active Top Secret clearance, and relevant certifications (Security+, CCNA/CCNP/Azure Network

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field is required.
• Active Top Secret Clearance with SCI eligibility.
• Security+ CE certification and one or more of CCNA, CCNP, Azure Network Specialist Associate, Network+ (current and active).
• 3 years of related networking experience in a DoD environment with security protocols.

Responsabilidades

• Install, configure, and maintain computer networks including VPNs, routers, and other network devices.
• Create firewalls and update virus protection software and data security systems to protect data and communications.
• Monitor computer systems to improve network performance across all systems.
• Monitor network traffic and performance; troubleshoot and resolve networking issues and communicate actions to staff.
• Work with cloud-based network services to integrate into existing network architectures.
• Maintain knowledge of security and networking best practices to protect company systems.
• Develop and implement network security policies.
