Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; supplemental technical or vocational training preferred.
• Typically 1–3 years of experience operating forklifts or material handling in warehousing, industrial, or logistics settings.
• Valid forklift certification or ability to obtain certification.
• Knowledge of safe forklift operation and material handling practices.
• Ability to read and follow work instructions, packing lists, and inventory documentation.
• Basic computer skills for inventory tracking and documentation.
• Ability to perform work in physically demanding environments.
• Ability to obtain or maintain a U.S. Government security clearance (as required).
• U.S. citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts (gasoline, electric, or LNG) to transport goods and materials within warehouses, plants, or other facilities.
• Transport parts, tools, supplies, and equipment to storage or work locations.
• Issue and distribute materials to maintenance and operational teams.
• Maintain accurate inventory records, logs, and documentation.
• Perform basic inventory counts and assist with cycle counts and audits.
• Inspect forklifts and equipment before use and report deficiencies.
• Follow safety requirements, traffic rules, and load-handling procedures.
• Properly secure loads and ensure safe movement of materials.
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe warehouse and storage areas.
• Support packing, labeling, and staging of materials for shipment or transport.
• Assist with material kitting and preparation for maintenance work orders.
• Coordinate with supervisors, logistics, and maintenance personnel regarding material status.
