Job summary

Sabg-4 in Huntsville, AL is seeking a Logistics Analyst (Intermediate) to support the Missile Defense Agency. The role focuses on logistics management, government property accountability, asset tracking, inventory management, and equipment sustainment.

You will maintain property records, support audits, and develop logistics policies and procedures, collaborating with teams to ensure compliance and efficient life-cycle logistics.

Qualifications

• Must possess strong analytical skills to conduct planning and analysis.
• Self-starter, detail oriented, able to support multiple projects, possess excellent communication skills, work well within a team, interact with multiple levels of management, and be able to manage customer and contractor relationships.
• Ability to organize and prioritize work

Responsibilities

• Maintain Government Property (GP) accountability, including GFP, IUID, and related requirements.
• Develop and update property management policies, instructions, procedures, and strategies.
• Provide logistics support to solve life-cycle logistics problems as a team member.
• Support agency audit readiness goals by establishing internal controls and repeatable processes.
• Support asset visibility and property accountability applications; analyze document registers and reports.
• Use MS Excel to develop property accountability reports and related documents.
• Develop life-cycle logistics policies, plans, and procedures.
• Apply logistics concepts during acquisition and sustainment phases.
• Identify and mitigate risks and develop risk management options.
• Handle purchasing, packaging, storage, and inventory management for GP equipment.
