Job summary

Credence has an immediate opening for a journeyman Network Engineer to support the AFLCMC Air Force Security Assistance Directorate at Wright Patterson AFB, OH. You will provide primary network configuration, maintenance, and on-site support to AF JWICS infrastructure and SCIFs, coordinating with ISSM on RMF and cybersecurity policy.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance or eligibility required.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a related field.
• Specialized DoD knowledge and DoD 8140 criteria must be met.
• Willingness to travel within the organizational geographic Area of Responsibility (AOR).

Responsibilities

• Provide primary network configuration and maintenance support to WPAFB's Site AF JWICS Infrastructure, including on-site support to all SCIFs.
• Coordinate with ISSM on cybersecurity policy and RMF control implementation.
• Design, configuration, installation, upgrades, monitoring, troubleshooting, and change management for WPAFB Site AF JWICS network infrastructure.
• Interface with government and industry partners to ensure secure JWICS network operations.
• Manage network monitoring tools such as Infoblox, SolarWinds, GEMONE, ISE and related systems.
• Draft artifacts for Authority to Operate (ATO) and higher headquarters taskings.
• Assist IT specialists with troubleshooting collateral LAN systems (NIPR, SIPR).
• Perform cryptographic equipment maintenance and system configuration changes remotely or on-site.
