Cherokee Nation Government Solutions (CNGS, LLC) is seeking an IT Specialist to support Cherokee Nation and the U.S. Air Force at Malmstrom AFB, MT. The role focuses on planning, design, construction, and management of IT/OT systems and secure services for government locations.

The position requires applying DoD and Air Force standards, maintaining secure infrastructure, and coordinating with cyber and network teams. A SECRET clearance is required, and U.S.

Qualifications

• :Requires SECRET clearance and DoD Cyberspace Workforce Framework qualifications (DCWF) for IT451/IT411.
• :Requires DoD/DAF cybersecurity standards and procedures to be followed.
• :Experience with servers, networks, and IT/OT systems in government or enterprise environments.
• :Ability to document incidents, configurations, and procedures clearly.

Responsibilities

• :Provide intermediate-level systems administration and operations support per DCWF roles.
• :Install, configure, operate, maintain, and improve IT/OT systems and infrastructure.
• :Administer servers, workstations, accounts, and software.
• :Monitor performance, availability, and capacity; implement improvements.
• :Coordinate with government personnel, cybersecurity teams, and vendors for issue resolution.
