Job summary

Ares Enterprise, supporting NAVFAC Marianas CIO3 in Guam, seeks an IT Technical Support Specialist to provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 helpdesk and IT operations support.

You will troubleshoot hardware and software, manage mobile devices via MDM, maintain asset records, and coordinate tech needs between end users and CIO3 teams. Must be a U.S. citizen with DoD qualifications and relevant certifications. Physical provisioning is required.

Qualifications

• Three-plus years of IT helpdesk, desktop support, or asset management experience.
• Knowledge of Mobile Device Management (MDM) and enterprise ticketing systems.
• Experience troubleshooting hardware, software, peripherals, and end-user tech.
• Strong English communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to read technical docs, policies and procedures.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Must meet DoD 8140.03 WRC 411 qualifications and have at least one approved certification (e.g., CompTIA Security+, EC-Council CND, GIAC GFACT, or GIAC GSEC).
• Ability to lift and move IT equipment up to 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 helpdesk support via multiple channels.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, peripherals, accounts, and local network issues.
• Install, configure, upgrade, and support end-user devices and software.
• Provision and secure enterprise mobile devices via MDM.
• Maintain IT asset lifecycle records and deployment coordination.
• Provide telecom support for landlines, VoIP, and phone directories.
• Serve as IT Representative between end users and CIO3 teams.
• Create and maintain SOPs, guides, reports, and outage communications.
• Provide general technical and administrative support to CIO3 IT Office.
