Job summary

L3Harris Technologies in Orlando is seeking an Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) to support DoD networks and IT systems. The role involves assessments, baseline validations, and continuous monitoring to identify vulnerabilities and ensure compliance with DoD policies.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s or graduate degree with several years in cybersecurity, DoD clearance, and hands-on experience with Windows/Linux system administration and security tools such as Nessus or ACAS.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 6 years of cybersecurity experience; or Graduate Degree with 4+ years.
• In lieu of a degree, a minimum of 10 years of cybersecurity or cyber intelligence experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform security control assessments and baseline validations in a continuous monitoring program.
• System Administration (Linux/Windows) and cybersecurity sustainment activities.
• Perform system self-inspections, audit log reviews, baselines, and continuous monitoring.
• Conduct cyber incident response, investigation, and resolution.
• Develop, maintain, and execute DoD compliant cybersecurity policies for the customer base.
