Job summary

MANTECH in the United States seeks a motivated, career- and customer-oriented Information Systems Security Engineer (ISSE) to join our Air Force / Army team at Eglin AFB. This is an onsite position.

The ISSE's primary function is to support the United States Air Force’s 53rd Wing Technical Support Services contract, delivering RMF-based network security analyses and expert-level guidance for complex cybersecurity issues.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required or 4 additional years of related experience in lieu of a degree.
• 5+ years direct/related experience in information security.
• Active/valid DoD 8570.01-M IAT-II certification.
• Strong background in patch/configuration management, scripting/DevOps, and Tier 3 support.
• Experience with IA tools for audit, end point protection, and security policy enforcement.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement information system security policies, especially for SAP networks.
• Conduct RMF-based network security analysis, emphasizing JSIG authorization.
• Serve as a technical expert for the Cybersecurity Assessment Program.
• Lead security design across Cloud hosting environments with varying data protections.
• Support ATO accreditation by analyzing scans, policies, and continuous monitoring.
