Job summary

L3Harris Technologies is seeking a Specialist, Information Security Systems Engineer in Rochester, NY. The role focuses on IA-related architecture, RMF, NIAP, NIST standards, and NSA certification planning. Collaboration with mechanical, electrical, and SW teams ensures security requirements are met throughout development.

Required DoD IA expertise, U.S. citizenship, and the ability to obtain an active Secret clearance. Salary ranges are disclosed and benefits are included with the position.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering; 4+ years embedded software experience.
• Graduate degree and 2+ years related experience.
• In lieu of a degree, 8 years of related experience.

Responsibilities

• Experience with security requirements analysis and specification generation.
• Self-motivated, able to operate with little supervision in diverse environments.
• Proven track record in planning, executing and tracking personal tasks.
• Experience with evolving NSA certification processes.
• Experience with certification of secure architectures.
• Active DoD/US security clearance (Secret) or ability to obtain one.
• US citizenship is required.
