Job summary

L3Harris Technologies in Rochester, NY is seeking a Specialist, Industrial Security (CSSO) to lead facility security, personnel security, and SAP/SCIF operations in support of national security programs.

The role requires a TS/SCI clearance, DoDM 5205.07 knowledge, and experience with security program policies; salary ranges from $67,000 to $124,000 in New York with comprehensive benefits. L3Harris values compliance, discretion, and collaboration with government partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 4 years of prior relevant experience.
• Graduate Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience.
• In lieu of a degree, minimum of 8 years of prior related experience.
• Active TS/SCI security clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Administer and manage personnel security requirements for staff.
• Oversee annual training, escort training, and clearance briefings.
• Ensure security support for SAP programs and SCIFs.
• Develop and enforce security policy per DoDM 5205.07 and NISPOM.
• Analyze incidents and prepare internal/external reports.
• Liaise with Government and contractors on security matters.
• Oversee guard/alarm interfaces and secure areas.
• Manage handling of classified material and destruction.
• Prepare SAP community Security Assessments.
• Coordinate visit requests to secure areas.
• Create continuity books and procedures.
