Job summary

Jobtailor is hiring a financial and technical consultant for a DoD program management and financial management system. You will provide expertise in government finance and assist clients in structuring financial data, while reconciling multiple systems and reviewing forecasts daily.

The role requires DoD experience, DoD processes, and relational databases knowledge, with on-site training support for a government customer. U.S. citizenship is required and CCaR certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of government acquisition, finance or financial management, program management within a DoD organization.
• Experience with DoD financial management processes, government financial and accounting systems, acquisition and budgeting processes, and relational databases.
• Education may be substituted with seven years of equivalent training or work/military experience.
• U.S. citizenship is required and DoD background/security checks apply.
• CCaR certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Act as a financial and technical consultant for a DoD program management and financial management system.
• Provide expertise in government finance and assist customers in properly structuring financial data.
• Perform reconciliation between several systems and daily review of forecasts and accounting data.
• Support a government financial office and provide on-site training to government customers.
