Job summary

Abacus Technology is seeking a Financial Manager to support acquisition and engineering tasks under the C3I&N Directorate at Hanscom AFB. This is a full-time position, requiring DoD financial management experience and a Secret clearance.

The role emphasizes budgeting, forecasting, EVM analysis, and audit readiness across multiple programs, with responsibility to prepare financial materials and briefings for program reviews and management meetings.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in financial management including DoD environment
• Familiar with DoD acquisition phases and related financial regulations
• Experience supporting FIAR compliant audits and budget execution events

Responsibilities

• Assist with acquisition-related financial management processes per AF/DoD policy
• Prepare budgets, reports and documentation; analyze funding and improve efficiency
• Conduct budget forecasting, variance analysis and EVM-related reviews
• Maintain audit trails for funding documents and financial reporting
• Support simulations and exercises to test unit financial readiness
