Job summary

Guidehouse seeks experienced professionals for its Department of War financial management consulting practice in Tampa, FL. You will help optimize finance operations, support audit readiness, and assist with process documentation and corrective actions across DoW entities.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance or related field and 2+ years in financial, auditing, or accounting roles, plus an active Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Data Analytics, or related field.
• 2+ years of relevant experience in financial, auditing, accounting or business.
• Active Secret security clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Help federal clients optimize the operations of their finance organization, including audit readiness, accounting, logistics, property management, civilian pay, and procurement.
• Supports audit remediation activities, such as developing/updating process documentation, SOPs, and corrective action plans to address findings.
• Performs recurring testing and internal controls assessments (A-123) and provides targeted area support based on Component.
