Job summary

Guidehouse is seeking a DoD Financial Management Consultant to help federal clients optimize finance operations, including audit readiness and procurement. You will support remediation activities, document processes, and design corrective action plans.

The role involves analyzing large data sets in Excel and financial systems. On-site in Florida, you will work with DoD teams, learn federal audit standards, and contribute to improving financial processes for audit readiness.

Qualifications

• ACTIVE and MAINTAINED SECRET clearance required.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• Three (3) years of relevant experience in financial, auditing, accounting, consulting, or business.
• On-site 5 days a week.

Responsibilities

• Support audit readiness, accounting, logistics, and procurement for DoD clients.
• Develop/update process documentation, SOPs, and corrective action plans.
• Perform internal controls testing and MICP/A-123 activities.
• Analyze journal vouchers and FBWT variances; assist with PP&E remediation.
• Handle large data sets in Excel and financial systems to support recommendations.
