Job summary

Guidehouse is seeking financial management professionals to support its Department of the Navy client. The team will bring broad experience across financial management, accounting, audit, internal controls and policy development. Engagements include GAAP/GAGAS, ICOFR, and DoD financial policy compliance.

The role emphasizes audit readiness, internal controls and knowledge of DoD financial management systems, with travel up to 10% and active SECRET clearance required.

Qualifications

• ACTIVE and MAINTAINED SECRET clearance with approved adjudication prior to onboarding.
• Bachelor’s Degree in accounting, finance, IT, business management, mathematics, statistics, CS or data science or equivalent certifications.
• 3+ years’ experience supporting Department of War financial management, internal controls, audit remediation, budgeting and related finance functions.

Responsibilities

• Support DoW financial management, accounting, audit readiness, and internal controls projects.
• Apply GAAP, GAGAS, ICOFR knowledge and DoD policies to financial statements and controls.
• Assist with DoD acquisition, inventory, property and material management tasks.
