Job summary
AGE Solutions is seeking a SAN Administrator to support a DoD customer with storage and backup requirements across on-premises and cloud environments. The role involves engineering and administering enterprise SAN, configuring storage arrays, NAS sharing, DR planning, and troubleshooting.
A Top Secret or favorable Tier 5/SSBI clearance and DoD IT experience are required. Preferred certifications include DoD 8570 IAT II and other security certifications; onsite work is expected in Tracy, CA with
Qualifications
- Three (3) years hands-on SAN management experience including Fiber Channel zoning, iSCSI, FCoE, HBA/CNA, storage controllers and LUNs.
- Two (2) years DoD IT systems experience.
Responsibilities
- Engineer and maintain SAN in enterprise environment; upgrade and test SAN components.
- Administer and maintain Enterprise SAN and storage arrays; handle backups with Veritas NetBackup.
- Configure NAS file sharing (CIFS, NFS, SMB) and manage data restore and DR operations.
- Support government acquisition of SAN hardware and software and document procedures.
