Job summary

CACI International Inc. seeks an Electronic Security Systems Engineer in Ashburn, VA to design and integrate electronic security systems for DoD programs. You will modify designs, develop CAD models, and coordinate with engineering, manufacturing, and field teams.

You will lead test plans, support proposals, manage materials, and ensure compliance with ICD 705 and AFI 31-101/31-108 DoD guidelines. A TS clearance is required or can be obtained.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science, or equivalent, with 5+ years’ experience in electronic security systems design/administration/implementation.
• Understanding of electrical and communications infrastructure design and installation.
• Knowledge of DoD guidelines and security installation standards (ICD 705, AFI 31-101/31-108, DoD 5210.41).

Responsibilities

• Be part of an integrated project team from design through installation and testing of security projects.
• Coordinate design criteria with engineering, manufacturing, and planning for cost, schedule, and performance objectives.
• Develop standards/templates for CAD models ensuring compliance with ASME and program requirements.
• Support proposals with engineering solutions, labor estimates, and materials take-offs.
• Develop test plans and lab configurations for PITCO activities and document processes.
