The Building People, LLC has a full-time Electrical Engineer - Department of Defense position. The Electrical Engineer provides design and technical support for facility control system projects, including UMCS, HVAC controls and DDC, SCADA, Fire Alarm Systems, Electronic Security Systems, and metering.

This role supports a DoD mission and collaborates with senior engineers, project managers, and field teams to deliver code-compliant, reliable systems.

Responsibilities

• Design and technical support for facility control system projects, including UMCS, HVAC controls and DDC, SCADA, Fire Alarm Systems, Electronic Security Systems, and metering.
• Prepare calculations, drawings, specifications, and sequences of operation; coordinate power and controls interfaces; assist with submittal reviews and RFIs; support factory and site testing, integrated system testing, and commissioning; produce as-built updates and O&M inputs.
