Job summary

Meridian Technologies is seeking an Elastic Engineer to support a DoD Cybersecurity program. You will design, implement, and maintain Elastic Stack-based security and logging solutions, including Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana, Beats, and ML components, deployed globally in a federal environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum Secret Clearance required.
• DoD 8140 / 8570 IAT Level II certification prior to start date.
• At least 4 years’ hands-on Elastic Stack deployment, configuration, and solution development for security/logging use-cases (Elastic SIEM a plus).
• Experience with Elastic Stack components: Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana, Beats, ML, REST API integration.
• Ability to utilize Ansible Playbooks.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, secure, maintain, optimize and document Elastic Stack Enterprise solutions deployed globally.
• Support data normalization and create technical deliverables (SOPs, workflows).
• Develop data pipelines and reporting automation; support internal and external customer requirements.
