Job summary

DEFCON AI is seeking an Architecture and Data Lead to manage data flow across the U.S. military's logistics ecosystem. In this senior role, you will develop an integration platform that connects DEFCON AI's software to various DoD systems, ensuring seamless data flow and operational coherence.

The position requires over 10 years of experience in software architecture, particularly in the DoD setting, and a strong understanding of data integration principles and classified environments.

Competitive salary range is $175,000-$225,000, along with comprehensive health benefits and a fully remote work environment.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of software/systems architecture experience.
• 5+ years of data architecture or data engineering experience in DoD.
• Hands-on experience with integration adapters between non-communicative systems.
• Experience operating across multiple classification levels.
• Active Secret Clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Own integration challenges in DoD software logistics.
• Design and build the integration platform for DEFCON AI.
• Develop adapters and common data models across DoD systems.
• Lead onboarding of key data sources and ensure compliance.
