The Army NAF in Fort Cavazos DoD CYS is seeking an Inclusion Specialist to support children and youth from six weeks to 18 years with various needs, ensuring inclusive practices across classrooms and programs.

The role includes coaching CYS staff, monitoring compliance with policies, serving on the IAT/M-IAT, and spending at least 50% of time in activity areas to model and promote inclusive environments and learning outcomes.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree with 24 semester hours in special education, early childhood education, youth development, or related field.
• Experience with child development, inclusion, and evidence-based practices.
• Knowledge of IDEA and Rehabilitation Act as applied to CDCs and school-age services.

Responsabilidades

• Provide inclusive services for children and youth aged six weeks to 18 with identified needs.
• Administers inclusion supports and behavior support processes in classrooms using service tools.
• Coach staff to observe development, communicate with families, and enhance environments for learning.
• Serve on the IAT/M-IAT and monitor compliance with DoD policy and federal law.
• Spend at least 50% of time in classrooms/activity areas to promote inclusive practices.
