Job summary

Everforth Apex is seeking an Operations Risk Assessment Analyst to support cybersecurity risk management at the Pentagon. The role requires TS/SCI eligibility, a strong security mindset, and the ability to engage with government stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.

The position emphasizes collecting and analyzing threats, developing executive briefings, and coordinating with DoD and partner agencies to maintain mission-focused risk awareness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a cyber-related field with relevant security emphasis.
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity concepts, threats, and risk management.
• Proven ability to communicate with stakeholders and present findings clearly.
• Demonstrated willingness to learn, ask questions, and handle varied tasks.

Responsibilities

• Collect, analyze, and report on cybersecurity threats, vulnerabilities, incidents, and risk indicators.
• Monitor cybersecurity data to identify trends, patterns, and emerging risks.
• Develop reports and risk assessments for senior leaders and stakeholders.
• Provide visibility into incidents, vulnerabilities, and threat activity across agencies and partners.
• Support vulnerability management and incident reporting with cybersecurity operations teams.
• Translate complex findings into clear information for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Assist in developing risk mitigation recommendations and support decision-making.
• Collaborate with DoD, federal agencies, and partners to maintain situational awareness.
