Job summary

HunaTek Government Solutions seeks cost analysis professionals to support a government client in Northern Virginia. You will perform life cycle and ROM cost estimates, IGCE studies, and cost analyses, while developing CARDs and defending budget requirements.

Applicants should have US citizenship and an active Secret clearance, plus strong Excel and data analytics skills. Experience with ACEIT, Crystal Ball, or SEER for IT is a plus.

Qualifications

• U.S. citizenship is required.
• Active Secret Security Clearance or ability to obtain one.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Familiarity with uncertainty/risk software packages.
• Knowledge of Government Acquisition Programs.
• Ability to lead detail-oriented tasks and multi-task under minimal supervision.
• Ability to present analytical results to senior leaders/stakeholders.
• Ability to manage and work with large data sets.
• Excellent data gathering and analytical skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Preferred: ACEIT, Crystal Ball or SEER for IT.

Responsibilities

• Perform full range of cost analyses: LCCE, ROM, IGCE, and ad hoc studies.
• Develop Cost Analysis Requirements Descriptions (CARDs).
• Support, update, and apply methodologies for estimating program costs.
• Develop, update, and maintain cost/affordability models.
• Collect, normalize, and analyze complex data.
• Build and defend budget requirements.
• Forecast future funding needs.
• Evaluate contracting strategy and acquisition options.
• Plan for acquisition of capabilities.
• Identify sustainment cost impacts of decisions.
• Identify funding requirements for interface maintenance.
• Support solution delivery to baselined schedules.
• Prepare briefing materials for executive/oversight levels.
• Communicate with diverse organizations for data collection and results.
