Job summary

Sienna Systems Corporation is seeking a Software Test & Automation Engineer to join the JITC TEC II team at Fort Huachuca, AZ. The role focuses on functional, integration, and regression testing within an Agile environment, with room to grow in test automation.

You will collaborate with SCRUM teams and program management to ensure quality across releases and support a DoD customer in a hybrid work setting.

Qualifications

Active DoD Secret security clearance.
Bachelor’s degree with 4+ years of experience (or equivalent).
At least one professional certification in the area of specialization.
Understanding of Agile/SCRUM and sprint-based development.

Responsibilities

Analyze and validate user stories, technical specifications, and functional requirements to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
Design, write, and execute detailed test cases and test scenarios for functional, integration, and regression testing phases.
Identify, document, and track software defects, collaborating with development teams for root-cause analysis.
Work with SCRUM teams, software developers, and program management to align on quality goals and deliverables.
Design, execute, and maintain functional test cases to meet requirements and acceptance criteria.
Assist in developing, maintaining, and executing automated testing scripts to increase coverage.
Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews and retrospectives to provide status and metrics.
