Job summary

Sienna Systems Corporation in Fort Huachuca, AZ, seeks a Software Test & Automation Engineer to join the TEC II team on the JITC program, supporting DT&E of ECWM. You will work with SCRUM teams on functional, integration, and regression testing with room to expand automation efforts.

We require a DoD Secret clearance and a Bachelor's degree with several years of experience; compensation ranges from $92,000 to $98,000 and includes a hybrid work schedule with DoD-related benefits.

Qualifications

• Active DoD Secret clearance required.
• Bachelor's degree with at least 4 years of experience, or an Associate's degree with 6+ years, or 60 semester hours with 6+ years.
• At least one professional certification in the area of specialization.
• Understanding of Agile/SCRUM principles and experience in sprint-based development.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize and execute tasks within restricted timeframes.
• Detail-oriented, independent, self-motivated and a proactive team player.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and validate user stories, technical specs, and functional requirements to ensure test coverage.
• Design, write, and execute detailed test cases and test scenarios for functional, integration, and regression testing.
• Identify, document, and track software defects; collaborate with development teams to reproduce issues and perform root-cause analysis.
• Work closely with teammates, SCRUM teams, software developers, and program management to align on quality goals.
• Design, execute, and maintain functional test cases to verify features meet requirements and acceptance criteria.
• Assist in developing, maintaining, and executing automated testing scripts to increase coverage and reduce manual testing.
• Actively participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives to report testing status.
