Job summary

RTX is hiring a Software Development Engineer to support the Radar Digital Product Line Team in Marlborough, MA. The role focuses on real-time embedded software, application software and tools, with opportunities to design, code and test across the software lifecycle.

The ideal candidate has a STEM degree and up to 12 months of experience, plus knowledge of C/C++/Java and Unix/Linux. U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain a DoD Secret clearance are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in STEM required.
• 12 months or less of relevant professional work experience.
• Experience or education with software development.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance; U.S. citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in requirements, design, development and testing of real-time embedded software and tools.
• Design, code, test, integrate, and document software solutions.
• Participate in internal reviews of software components and systems.
• Collaborate with project managers and engineers within Engineering.
• Follow development practices to maintain configuration management of software products.
