Associates Systems in Maryland seeks a Database Administrator II to maintain secure, high‑performing databases on Windows/Linux with on‑prem and cloud storage. The role requires DoD clearance and hands‑on experience across critical environments.

You will implement and monitor databases, manage backups, and contribute to accreditation efforts for ATO, including applying DoD/DoN patches per IAVA/IAVB/NAVCIRT alerts. On‑site work with potential hybrid after onboarding.

Qualifications

• DOD active or interim secret clearance or ability to obtain.
• IAT Level II is required; Level III preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in a related technical field.
• 4–7 years of Oracle and AWS experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintain database integrity, security, and performance across Windows and Linux.
• Implement, configure, and maintain on-site and cloud storage environments.
• Support accreditation processes and ensure compliance with DoD/DoN requirements including ATO.
