Job summary

AGE Solutions is seeking an Automation Engineer to design and build automation, apps, and reporting using Power Platform and Power BI. You will work with customers to define needs, document designs, and implement in development and production environments.

Required: 8+ years IT, 5+ years Power Platform/Power BI, DoD Top Secret with SCI eligibility, DoD IAT II certs. Onsite in Ft. Meade, MD with commutable distance. Salary around $120k+ with bonus potential and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

8+ years of relevant IT experience.
5+ years building production solutions on Power Platform and Power BI.
Bachelor's degree in a related field.
Must have and maintain a current DoD Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.
Must have and maintain at least one certification compliant with DoD IAT level II, such as CompTIA Security+CE or equivalent.
This position is onsite full-time at Ft. Meade, MD; commutable distance required.

Responsibilities

Lead requirements discovery sessions with customer stakeholders and translate into functional/technical requirements.
Produce solution design documents, data flow diagrams, and process maps for customer review.
Build, test, and deploy Power Automate flows and Power Apps integrating SharePoint Online, Dataverse, Outlook, Teams, SQL, Excel, REST/Graph sources.
Use Power Query (M) as data transformation layer across Power BI, Dataflows, and Excel; shape and cleanse data.
Build Power BI semantic models and reports with DAX measures, RLS, and gateway configurations.
Design Dataverse tables, relationships, and security roles; decide when to use SharePoint lists vs Dataverse.
Implement ALM: environments, connection references, and managed deployments.
