Job summary

AGE Solutions is seeking a CCIE-certified Enterprise Network Architect to lead network engineering for a DoD agency. The role focuses on enterprise-level architecture, security, interoperability, and modernization strategies across WAN/LAN, IPv6, MPLS, and cloud integrations.

The position requires extensive DoD clearance and CCIE Enterprise Infrastructure certification, with work primarily from contractor facilities near Fort Belvoir, VA and other locations.

Qualifications

• Eight years of relevant experience including network WAN/LAN hardware and firewalls.
• Clearance: DoD Top Secret or Secret with favorable Tier 5/SSBI.
• CCIE Enterprise Infrastructure certification required.
• Location flexibility across US regions; willingness to work from Fort Belvoir, VA or Columbus, OH and other listed sites.

Responsibilities

• Develop enterprise network architectures, technical designs, and modernization roadmaps.
• Provide senior technical guidance to network engineers, cybersecurity personnel, and government leadership.
• Evaluate and improve performance, security, availability, and resilience of networks.
• Design solutions with Cisco routing/switching, Check Point firewalls, and telecom tech.
• Lead assessments of emerging network technologies and architectures.
• Draft high-level and detailed network designs and implementation strategies.
• Support IPv6, MPLS, QoS, and enterprise network segmentation planning.
• Evaluate hardware/software acquisitions for security and lifecycle suitability.
