Job summary

Crystal Clear Technologies is seeking a Cable Technician to support a Department of Defense customer at Fort Liberty. The role involves installing, troubleshooting, and repairing inside and outside plant cable and fiber optic systems, on a team with other Cable Journeymen.

Candidates should have 3+ years of termination experience and be prepared for physically demanding work in a security-cleared environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years’ experience with fiber/copper termination.
• Familiarity with BICSI standards and installation practices.
• Experience with testing equipment (OTDR, R meter).
• Experience with data network cable installation and Corning SC connectors.
• Ability to follow grounding and bonding, cable forming and dressing, manhole/duct systems.
• Knowledge of general construction tasks and hole repair work.
• Must lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Provide inside and/or outside plant cable and fiber optic project support.
• Install, troubleshoot, and repair cabling and fiber systems.
• Work as part of a team of Cable Journeymen.
• Follow standard installation practices and safety guidelines.
