Job summary

Ideal Innovations, Inc. seeks a Biometric Examiner to support the Army DACID Biometric Operations. This role focuses on fingerprint, palm print, facial and iris examination in a 100% digital workflow, assisting DoD Warfighter operations and ABIS searches.

The position offers training on facial and iris identifications, exposure to advanced imaging tools, and rapid case handling in a high-security DoD environment. Candidates must meet clearance requirements and be able to work a 24/7 schedule.

Qualifications

Education requirements: Doctorate, Masters or Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
Must be able to obtain DoD Secret Clearance and FBI CJIS clearance.
Willingness to work 10–12 hour shifts on a 24/7/365 schedule.

Responsibilities

Prepare biometric files (fingerprints, palm prints, facial/iris images) for entry into DoD ABIS.
Monitor queue applications and resolve DoD ABIS transactions.
Conduct manual biometric comparisons to confirm identifications.
Verify fingerprint sequences and orientations.
Perform identity deconfliction comparisons at customer request.
Document case notes and metrics in the case management system.
Maintain SOPs and work instructions; provide admin support as needed.
