Job summary

SierTeK is seeking a Biomedical Equipment Technician to support the 711th Human Performance Wing at Wright Patterson AFB, OH. You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance on medical and simulation equipment, diagnose issues using manuals and schematics, and ensure regulatory compliance for DoD facilities.

The role requires strong technical expertise in biomedical systems and electronics, the ability to work independently in a fast-paced healthcare setting, and a valid U.S.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Biomedical Equipment Technology or related technical discipline.
• 2+ years of Biomedical Equipment Technician experience preferred.
• Experience troubleshooting, repairing, calibrating, and maintaining complex biomedical equipment.
• Knowledge of electronic principles and electromechanical systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on medical and simulation equipment.
• Diagnose malfunctions using schematics, manuals, and test equipment.
• Repair and replace defective components including motors and circuit boards.
• Install, configure, calibrate, and de-install biomedical equipment.
• Maintain maintenance documentation in applicable systems.
• Ensure compliance with DoD/Air Force/OSHA/FDA regulatory requirements.
