Job summary

Odyssey seeks a Biomedical Equipment Technician to support the 711th HPW at Wright-Patterson AFB in Ohio. This contingent role requires ensuring maintenance, calibration, and service of medical equipment in compliance with DoD and safety regulations.

You will test, troubleshoot, and document equipment status in DMLSS, provide training to medical staff, and coordinate preventive maintenance. US citizenship and the ability to obtain a DoD clearance are required.

Qualifications

• US citizen required.
• Ability to obtain NACI clearance.
• Associate's degree in biomedical equipment technology or engineering.
• Two years of biomedical equipment technician experience with electronics troubleshooting.
• Must comply with OSHA, DoD, and MTF safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Ensure maintenance and repair activities comply with safety regulations.
• Test and calibrate components using manuals and tools.
• Maintain records in DMLSS and through leadership.
• Assess condition of equipment for maintenance, upgrade, or replacement.
• Inspect and test malfunctioning equipment per specifications.
• Disassemble and replace defective parts.
• Perform preventive maintenance per OEM specifications.
• Train medical staff on operation and preventive maintenance.
• Safely operate government vehicle as required.
