Job summary

ARServices is seeking an Audit Analyst to support the Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA) RD Directorate. The role involves financial management, audit readiness, and resolving ULOs and RAI issues in a DoD setting, based at Fort Belvoir, VA.

You will research discrepancies using DoD financial systems, collaborate with a cross-functional A&A team, and present complex financial information to senior Government officials using MS Office applications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, management, or business-related discipline.
• Current DoD Secret clearance.
• 5+ years of financial analysis/management experience.
• 3+ years of experience resolving Unliquidated Obligations (ULOs) and assisting RAI processes.
• Experience with DoD financial audits.
• Strong written and oral communication skills using Microsoft Office Suite.
• Familiarity with the Defense Agencies Initiative (DAI) Accounting system.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and collaborative tools (MS Teams, Skype, WebEx, Adobe Connect).

Responsibilities

• Track, analyze, and resolve ULOs and RAI issues for one office portfolio.
• Use Financial Management Information Systems (e.g., DAI) to research and resolve ULOs and provide insights on obligations and expenditures.
• Collaborate with cross-functional A&A and government teams to support audit readiness.
• Assist in audit activities as directed, prioritizing teamwork and government priorities.
• Develop and present complex financial information to senior Government officials using MS Office.
• All other duties as assigned.
