Job summary

Mayvin is seeking a seasoned Acquisition Manager to support DoD programs at Fort Belvoir, VA. You will execute acquisition management across an entire product line and coordinate tasks through the lifecycle.

This role requires a bachelor’s degree and a minimum of eight years’ DoD acquisition experience, plus knowledge of DODI 5000.02, JCIDS, and contracting actions in a collaborative, matrixed environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Minimum 8 years’ experience in DoD acquisition.
• Knowledge of and experience with DODI 5000.02.
• Defense Acquisition System familiarity.
• JCIDS experience preferred.
• Prior experience supporting US Army product management office desired.

Responsibilities

• Executes acquisition management across an entire product line.
• Coordinates products and taskings across the acquisition process and life cycle phases.
• Able to prepare, configure and staff all Milestone documentation.
• Assists with determining contracting strategy, prepares contracting documents, and coordinates activities with Army Contracting Command.
• Participate in source selection boards and conduct technical evaluations.
• Leads and provides oversight of product IPTs, test events, test reviews, and product demonstrations.
• Assists in providing contract oversight for assigned products.
• Maintains and manages the program budget and master schedule.
• Identifies cost, schedule and performance tradeoffs.
• Lead and oversee preparation of Supply Requests Packages to DLA and manage transition of products from PM to DLA or Army Sustainment.
• Develop and draft Acquisition Strategies, Acquisition Plans and other acquisition documents.
• Leads tasks supporting pre-award contracts, financial management, risk management, total ownership cost determination, and contract coordination.
• Coordinates contracting actions with local procurement contracting officers.
