Job summary

JRC's Missiles and Space Team is seeking an Access Control Specialist to support DoD security missions. You will be the first contact for employees and visitors, processing badges and enforcing access procedures using Lenel On-Guard and DoD systems.

The role requires an active DoD SECRET clearance, a high school diploma, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment while delivering exceptional service in a government setting.

Qualifications

• Active DoD SECRET Clearance required.
• High School Diploma required.
• Ability to take tasks with minimal instructions and exceed expectations.
• Flexible and adaptable to a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
• Experience using Lenel OnGuard for enrollment, access level programming and badge issuance.
• Experience with DoD DISS system.
• Ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Greet employees and visitors professionally.
• Ensure processing per DoD/DoN/SSP policies with valid VAR on file in DISS for SSP.
• Process and issue employee and visitor badges per clearance level and visit purpose using Lenel On-Guard.
• Enroll DoD CACs into the Access Control System.
• Maintain positive customer experience with timely, professional service.
• Process visitor requests and enter clearance info into DoD DISS.
• Support courier card processing and general administrative tasks.
• Coordinate badge requests and appointments for new/renewal badges in Lenel.
• Ensure Visitor Control Desk is staffed during duty hours and visitors are assisted promptly.
