Job summary

University Health is seeking a quality improvement analyst to support the Health System’s quality initiatives. The role analyzes data to identify improvement opportunities and helps develop process metrics and data collection tools.

The person will lead process improvement efforts and partner with Senior Leadership, Directors, Educators and clinicians to ensure accurate documentation of care in alignment with quality guidelines.

Qualifications

• RN licensure required by Texas Board of Nursing.
• 3+ years of clinical experience preferred for quality-focused roles.
• Experience with quality improvement methodology is highly preferred.
• Knowledge of data analysis and documentation quality a plus.
• CPHQ or Healthcare Accreditation Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Analyze data and indicators to support quality improvement across the health system.
• Identify ongoing quality issues and opportunities for improvement.
• Develop process metrics and data collection tools; present results to leadership.
• Act as facilitator/leader of process improvement efforts with clinical and administrative staff.
• Collaborate with Senior Leadership, Department Directors, Educators, and providers.
