Job summary

Saronic Technologies is seeking a Scrum Master/Technical Writer with 5–7 years in content operations to drive documentation sprints, coordinate cross-functional teams, and optimize publishing workflows. You will partner with engineering, product, and program teams to deliver high-quality operation and service docs.

The role emphasizes a docs-as-code approach using GitHub, plus metrics in Linear to monitor backlog health, velocity, and progress through release milestones.

Qualifications

• Scrum master experience (or equivalent agile delivery ownership) plus 5–7 years in technical writing, content operations, content management, or related field.
• Demonstrated ability to plan and manage content sprints in an agile or scrum environment.
• Strong organizational skills with experience managing backlogs, intake processes, and cross-functional timelines.
• Proficiency with a docs-as-code workflow in GitHub.
• Proficiency with issue tracking and reporting in Linear (or equivalent tool), including building burndown, velocity, and backlog-health metrics.
• Experience collaborating with engineering, product, and program teams.
• Clear communicator—able to translate ambiguity into structured, actionable plans for writers.
• Experience writing operations, maintenance, and service documentation.
• Comfortable working as a self-starter in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Triage documentation requests and coordinate with stakeholders.
• Own sprint planning and manage backlogs in an agile environment.
• Set and track deadlines aligned with release schedules and milestones.
• Maintain visibility into writer capacity and balance workloads.
• Coordinate early-stage R&D docs for graduation to full sprint management.
• Publish and manage docs workflows from review to delivery.
• Review and merge GitHub PRs and keep work moving toward delivery.
• Maintain develop branch and prep main for publication.
• Create and manage publication tags and docs deployment pipelines.
• Publish changelogs and keep version records current across products.
