Job summary

Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health in Berwyn, PA is seeking a Documentation Manager to maintain and improve center documentation and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations. Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Human Services, or related field.
  • Two years’ experience in the Human Services field, working with adults with intellectual/developmental disabilities, mental health diagnoses, and/or TBI.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and an ability to adhere to established regulations.
  • Excellent customer service skills, as well as written and verbal communication skills, organizational skills, and problem-solving skills.
  • Must be able to adapt to rapidly changing demands of the position, customer needs, and the organization.
  • Must be proficient in Word Processing and Database management.
  • Must possess and maintain valid driver's license, and be at least 21 years of age.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and improve center documentation for compliance.
  • Prioritize, schedule and implement audits across the center with the Director.
  • Develop effective and accountable systems to ensure quality documentation.
  • Provide coaching and leadership to Program Specialists regarding the ISP process and documentation.

As a Documentation Manager you will work collaboratively with the Director and team to monitor and improve Center documentation and to ensure that all records are compliant with State and Federal regulations. Works with the Director to prioritize, schedule and implement audits across the center and to develop effective and accountable systems to ensure quality documentation. You must maintain a working knowledge of all applicable regulations as they pertain to documentation and applies standards to audits, summarizing data and presenting results with recommendations for improvements. Assists Director with oversight and support of Program Specialists, ensuring accountability and timely completion of reports. Provides coaching and leadership to Program Specialists, ensuring that all team members have the necessary skills to coordinate and facilitate a person centered ISP process. Assists Director with the provision of training and support to all employees regarding use of electronic health record and quality documentation.
