Your role at Clorox:

Kingsford Manufacturing in Belle, Missouri, is proud to produce 100% American-made charcoal briquets. Kingsford is the leading manufacturer of charcoal in the United States, synonymous with authentic grilling, good food, and good times.

Starting Hourly Rate: $21.94 plus $0.80 shift differential on the night shift. After qualifying, the rate increases to $22.61 per hour.

Work Schedule:

  • 12-hour shifts
  • 14-day rotation (2 weeks of day shift, followed by 2 weeks of night shift)
  • 2-2-3 schedule
  • Week 1 (Day Shift 7am – 7pm): 2 days on, 2 days off, 3 days on
  • Week 2 (Day Shift 7am – 7pm): 2 days off, 2 days on, 3 days off
  • Week 3 (Night Shift 7pm – 7am): 2 days on, 2 days off, 3 days on
  • Week 4 (Night Shift 7pm – 7am): 2 days off, 2 days on, 3 days off

In this role, you will:

The Production Worker is responsible for processing, manufacturing, packaging, storing, and distributing charcoal briquettes. You may be assigned to work in any of these areas:

  • Retort: Convert wood waste to char for briquettes
  • Manufacturing: Combine char and raw materials to create briquettes
  • Packaging: Operate machines to package finished briquettes into bags
  • Warehouse: Store finished bags for shipment

Essential Functions:

  • Operate machinery controls
  • Adjust machine functions as needed
  • Maintain and repair equipment
  • Move materials between areas
  • Handle ingredients and finished products
  • Disassemble and repair equipment
  • Monitor production lines for issues
  • Stop or reset machines when needed
  • Verify materials and products meet standards
  • Package products appropriately
  • Stock and prepare supplies
  • Operate palletizing and industrial trucks
