Job summary

Iron Mountain is seeking an Imaging Specialist to join our Operations team in Jessup, MD. You will ensure secure, accurate, high-quality conversion of physical documents into digital assets, supporting data integrity and digital transformation.

The role involves processing heavy volumes, operating scanners, indexing data, and maintaining strict quality controls. It offers a 1st/2nd shift with potential OT and a temporary 6-month contract with a path to permanent for the right candidate.

• Experience in a high-volume production, administrative, or data entry environment.
• Proficiency in basic PC operations and English reading/communication.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision and maintain a steady pace.
• Physical ability to lift up to 40 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Process and prepare a high volume of records for scanning.
• Operate scanning equipment to convert documents into digital images with quality control.
• Index data from documents into software with attention to detail.
• Ensure compliance with procedures, security, and client SLAs.

Iron Mountain is seeking a motivated Imaging Specialist to join our Operations team in Jessup, MD. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the secure, accurate, and high-quality conversion of physical documents into digital assets, serving as a critical link in our information management services. This position is a great opportunity to gain experience in data integrity and digital transformation.

What You'll Do (Responsibilities)

In this role, you will:

• Process and prepare a high volume of hard copy records for scanning, ensuring all documents are correctly sorted and prepped for efficient conversion.

• Operate and maintain scanning equipment to accurately convert physical documents into digital images, following strict quality control and production standards.

• Index and key critical data from documents into multiple software applications with a strong focus on detail and accuracy to ensure data integrity.

• Ensure compliance with all internal production procedures, security protocols, and client service level agreements to maintain document control and confidentiality.

• Other duties specified by your Supervisor/Manager

What You'll Bring (Skills & Qualifications)

The ideal candidate will have:

• Experience in a high-volume production, administrative, or data entry environment.

• Strong knowledge of basic PC operations and computer-related products, with proficiency in reading and communicating in English.

• Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision and maintain a sustained, focused pace to meet production rates and quality targets.

• Physical requirement: Must be able to lift up to 40lbs

• 6 Month Temporary position (could convert to permanent)

• Rate: $16.83/hr

• A set schedule Monday - Friday (OT may be required)

• 1st Shift: 6:15am-2:45pm

• 2nd Shift: 3:30pm - midnight

Reasonably expected salary range: $35,000.00 - $43,800.00
