Iron Mountain is seeking an Imaging Specialist to join our Operations team in Jessup, MD. The role focuses on secure, accurate conversion of physical documents into digital assets, serving as a critical link in information management services.

This 6-month temporary position offers shift options, with a starting rate of $16.83/hr and a standard Monday–Friday schedule. Opportunity to gain experience in data integrity and digital transformation within a global leader in storage solutions.

Qualifications

• Experience in a high-volume production, administrative, or data entry environment.
• Strong knowledge of basic PC operations and English reading/communication.
• Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Physical requirement: able to lift up to 40 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Process and prepare a high volume of hard copy records for scanning, ensuring documents are correctly sorted and prepped for conversion.
• Operate and maintain scanning equipment to convert physical documents into digital images with quality control.
• Index and key data from documents into multiple software applications with attention to detail.
• Ensure compliance with internal procedures, security protocols, and client SLAs.
• Other duties specified by Supervisor/Manager.

In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the secure, accurate, and high-quality conversion of physical documents into digital assets, serving as a critical link in our information management services. What You'll Do (Responsibilities)

• Process and prepare a high volume of hard copy records for scanning, ensuring all documents are correctly sorted and prepped for efficient conversion.
• Operate and maintain scanning equipment to accurately convert physical documents into digital images, following strict quality control and production standards.
• Index and key critical data from documents into multiple software applications with a strong focus on detail and accuracy to ensure data integrity.
• Ensure compliance with all internal production procedures, security protocols, and client service level agreements to maintain document control and confidentiality.
• Other duties specified by your Supervisor/Manager

What You'll Bring (Skills & Qualifications)

• Experience in a high-volume production, administrative, or data entry environment.
• Strong knowledge of basic PC operations and computer-related products, with proficiency in reading and communicating in English.
• Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision and maintain a sustained, focused pace to meet production rates and quality targets.

What We Offer (Benefits)

• Location: 8240 Patuxent Range Road, Jessup MD
• 6 Month Temporary position (could convert to permanent)
• Rate: $16.83/hr
• A set schedule Monday - Friday (OT may be required)
• 1st Shift: 6:15am-2:45pm
• 2nd Shift: 3:30pm - midnight

Reasonably expected salary range: $35,000.00 - $43,800.00

Please note that an employee's starting salary may vary based on a variety of factors. Where State, Municipal, Provincial, Territorial or other legal minimum wages exceed the federal minimum wage, employees are entitled to the higher rate.
