Document Controls Specialist II - Design Build

Overview

We are seeking candidates with demonstrated Document Control experience on fast-paced transportation infrastructure projects and experience in Design-Build delivery. The individual will ensure the delivery of quality work on time, within budget, and to client satisfaction by coordinating with internal and external partners and cross-disciplinary teams to address and resolve design-related issues.

Responsibilities

• Administer the collection, authorization, publication, storage, retrieval, and retention of documents to ensure control and availability to site personnel.
• Manage document control strategies, systems, policies, and procedures, including authoring, approval, publishing, version control, and archiving of project documents.
• Maintain electronic project record files, including copying and scanning documents for distribution and storage.
• Prepare records for inactive storage in accordance with the Records Retention Schedule.
• Assist in training project personnel on document control and record retention policies and procedures.
• Conduct regular audits of document control processes and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in a relevant field with 3 years of relevant experience, or
• 5 years of project controls, document control, or technical administrative support experience in lieu of degree.

Skills and Preferences

• Ability to think systematically and in detail.
• Experience with SharePoint, Bentley ProjectWise, and engineering document control systems.
• CSI Construction Documents Technologist (CDT) certification or equivalent is preferred.
• Experience in Design-Build project delivery is preferred.

Additional Information

Locations include Arlington, VA; Atlanta, GA; Austin, TX; Charlotte, NC; Columbus, OH; Indianapolis, IN; Kansas City, MO; Tampa, FL. The pay range for Ohio is approximately $64,787 to $97,181, depending on qualifications and location.
